As a teenager, one of my favorite hobbies was creating mix CDs. Although I had no one to gift them to, I'd often burn them onto a blank CD and create album art for each one anyway. I was heavily inspired by the playlists posted by the writers of Rookiemag, Tumblr user thisishangingrockcomics, and the 8tracks community. Here are some I've made just for this site.

A soundtrack for a deliriously dancing your way through the hottest day of the hottest year. You can't quite tell if you've forgotten to take your regular drugs, or if you're coming up on another one. Now that you think about it, you can't remember anything before the present moment. Either way, the blaring sunshine is cooking your brain inside your skull like a baked potato.

Somewhat inspired by one of my all-time favorite songs, "The Nightfly" by Donald Fagen (get it?????), this mix is intended to loosely simulate tuning in to a radio station. With a creative (imho) utilization of short album interludes as faux-stopsets/bumps, the playlist contains four 30-minute blocks of music. Don't worry, there are no drawn-out skits or "commercial breaks," because I pride myself on being a vibe curator, NOT killer.
